Review: Light Crafts LightZone

In the last 6 months, a slew of new software products designed for photographers who shoot primarily in RAW format have come onto the scene. Apple Aperture and Adobe LightRoom are just two examples. Epson printing & scanning technology wins TIPA Award

Considering that most of the digital photographers are interested in making good prints that match the desired color, why not spread the word about the best printers out there? Epson printing technology won - among others - the TIPA awards for Best A4 Multifunction Photo Printer in Europe 2006 and Best Printing Technology in Europe 2006.

Apple Aperture 1.1 is out

A number of news follows the relase of Apple Aperture 1.1. First, there is more control over your RAW files and much better performance squeezed out of the application, which is now a Universal Binary. It costs a lot less, and users that bought the (overpriced) previous version can now get rebates and the new version from Software Update. Finally, there are three fantastic new promotional clips in the Profiles section of the website that are not to be missed.
