Canon relaunched it's CPN website, with a mission to be a source of inspiration and education to professional and enthusiastic photographers who rely on Canon products. Canon software updates
New software updates from Canon include ZoomBrowser EX 5.8b, Digital Photo Professional 3.0 and EOS Utility 2.0 for both Windows and OS X, as well as the Canon RAW Codec 1.0 for Windows Vista. They can all be found on the EOS 30D support page, under Drivers/Software.

EOS 1D MKIII announced
Canon announced the new king of the hill dSLR body when it comes to shooting performance: the all new 10.1 megapixel CMOS (1.3x crop factor) captures 10 FPS, 110 photos per burst, has two DIGiC-III image processors, an improved AF system, self-cleaning sensor unit, 3" LCD and a mysterious new feature called "live preview".

Virtual Lens Plant
Canon added a new mini-site to the Technology Hall in the Canon Camera Museum. Under the name Virtual Lens Plant, this site describes lens manufacturing processes and provides amazing video footage. Be prepared to spend some time at the Plant!

EOS 30D Firmware Update Ver 1.0.5
Canon relases a new firmware revision for the EOS 30D. The update fixes the problem with displaying wrong number of available continuous shots and adds a new type of paper for camera-direct printing.
