Bibble Labs Releases version 4.8 of their workflow software
The popular RAW converter for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux now features a B&W / Spot Plugin and Advanced Lens Correction; This means it can now correct barrel and pin-cushion distortions, vignetting and chromatic aberations.

Adobe Lightroom Beta 3 now available
Featuring new tools like Before and After, Straighten, History, the new version also sports a dedicated Web module and tons of improvements over the beta 2. Given that it's still free, Lightroom has grown into a very competitive workflow application that definitively needs to be given a try!

Review: Light Crafts LightZone
In the last 6 months, a slew of new software products designed for photographers who shoot primarily in RAW format have come onto the scene. Apple Aperture and Adobe LightRoom are just two examples. Light Crafts LightZone enters the fray as yet another new image processing product that provides some unique and interesting tools.

Apple Aperture 1.1 is out
A number of news follows the relase of Apple Aperture 1.1. First, there is more control over your RAW files and much better performance squeezed out of the application, which is now a Universal Binary. It costs a lot less, and users that bought the (overpriced) previous version can now get rebates and the new version from Software Update. Finally, there are three fantastic new promotional clips in the Profiles section of the website that are not to be missed.
