With an eye toward its core audience of non-professional photo enthusiasts, Adobe has made improvements to its 4th version of Photoshop Elements that make it easier than ever to edit, organize, and share digital photos. Despite its consumer-level price tag, Photoshop Elements 4.0 sports some new tools that gurus wish the full-blown Photoshop had.

Autostitch - let your computer create panoramas for you
If you're into panoramas, this software might be a fun thing to try out. The automated image stitcher uses snaps of different parts of a scene to automagically complete the big picture. Although it has been around for a while, Autostich keeps inspiring photographers all over the world and even has its own Flickr following - at this moment some 6400 images.
